HADAF Center For Human Rights organized a seminar under the title " The Role Of NGO's In Disseminating The Value Of Tolerance " in the presence of Dr. Yusef Safi ( HADAF's Executive Manager ), Mr. Bahjat Al- helo ( Responsible For Public Relations In the Independent Commission For Citizens Rights ), and ( 38 ) female and male youth from university students and volunteers, within activities of its project " Promoting Youth's Rights And Civic Engagement " funded by ( EU & NHRF ).
The seminar started by a presentation from Dr. Yusef Safi who welcomed guests and participants, stressing that dissemination of values of tolerance is one of the roles that should be played by civil society institutions, and media institutions. Moreover, he warned from the current practices of media institutions that enhance the culture of intolerance among the Palestinian citizens, and consequently protecting political and geographical split.

On the other hand, Mr. Bahjat Al- Helo highlighted the concept of tolerance and its relationship with democracy, and tolerance in religious speech and political parties. He added that civil society institutions have an important role in disseminating the value of tolerance through raising awareness among the Palestinian community, and conducting meetings, seminars and workshops, indicating that what our society needs is tolerant people. Moreover, he stressed on the role of media, political parties, and educational institutions in disseminating the value of tolerance and respect and love among citizens, and indicating that need for having art of dialogue, and to be well-aware of the culture of the other.
